M610 Complex Analysis (3 cr.) This course provides a formal exploration of functions of a complex variable, including analytic functions, contour integrals, residues, and power series.
Upon completion of the course, students are expected to be able to do the following:
- Define analytic functions, contour integrals, residues, and power series. (1.c)
- Evaluate complex functions, derivatives, integrals, and series. (1.a)
- Derive series expansions for complex-valued functions. (2.d)
- Prove theorems about limits, derivatives, integrals, series, residues, and poles. (4.c)
