MG315 Entrepreneurship3 credit(s) This course provides a first look and overview of modern entrepreneurship. Course work includes: 1) developing ideas for new business ventures 2) proof of concept exercises 3) understanding various industry climates 4) being able to conduct marketing research and 5) developing a marketing plan. The importance of entrepreneurship to modern market economies in discussed throughout. Students will complete a detailed feasibility study and will learn how to compile the marketing section of the business plan for an original idea of their choosing. Additionally, students will get a sense of what it takes to manage a business by operating the Cardinal Corner Student Store on campus. Prerequisites: C grade or higher in AC222 , M145 , MG219 , and MK217 ; consent of instructor for non-departmental majors.
