TA323 Theatre History and Dramatic Literature since 17003 credit(s) This course examines theatre within its historical context as a socially constructed mode of artistic and cultural expression. It explores theatre history and dramatic literature from the 18th – 21st centuries with an emphasis on Romanticism and Opera, European and American modern and contemporary theatre, as well as emerging world theatres. Offered spring semester. Cannot be taken if completed TA321 or TA421. This course satisfies Cultural Traditions general education content area.
