HS613 Personal and Professional Development (1 cr.)

This course allows students to strengthen practices to build productive, professional lives as human services or healthcare administrators. A different focus topic is selected each time the course is offered. Students may be required to attend selected professional seminars or events as part of the course.

Upon completion of this course, students are expected to be able to do the following:

1. Assess the effects of individual capabilities and work skills on performance in the work place.
2. Research lifelong or continued professional learning opportunities.
3. Develop professional development goals and objectives.
