HS496/497 Human Services Internship

1–17 credit(s)
This off-campus experience provides qualified juniors or seniors with opportunities to participate as members of established human services site teams. A minimum of 270 hours is required; the student must register for at least one credit.  For an internship exceeding 270 hours, the student may choose to register for additional credits (45 hours = 1 credit).  The student’s academic advisor, in conjunction with the University’s Career Services office and on-site professionals, provides supervision and guidance during the internship. Prerequisites: B200 , B201 , HS111 , HS211 , HS306 , HS495 , PY111 , and PY211 . Co-requisite: HS498 .
