3 credit(s)
Freshwater environments, such as lakes, streams, and wetlands, represent less than one percent of the earth’s surface and are critically threatened by human activity.  This course will investigate the interrelationships between the physical, chemical, and biological properties of freshwater.  Lab and field studies emphasize techniques for assessing aquatic environments. Prerequisite: B301 .
