BU343 Data Visualization and Content Strategy (3 cr.) This course provides in-depth coverage of Microsoft Excel in the context of business intelligence. Excel topics include formulas and functions, charting, large datasets, pivot tables, and what-if analysis. This course includes topics on presentation and storytelling strategies for business decision making.
Upon completion of this course, students are expected to be able to do the following:
- Develop an understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Utilize spreadsheet applications in a variety of simulations.
- Attain the ability to create worksheets and workbooks.
- Evaluate the strengths and limitations of popular business software.
