B339 Natural Resources Careers and Communications

Careers in natural resource management are increasingly important, with increasing human population and limited natural resources and habitats.  This course will survey the diverse field of natural resource professions that support soil, water, forest, wildlife, fisheries, and recreational resources.  The course will also develop a variety of communication skills appropriate for a beginning natural resource professional including: stakeholder engagement, scientific writing, and digital communication.
