BIA680 Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals (3 cr.)

Prerequisite(s): BIA630  
This course focuses on the framework for utilizing the Python programming language for artificial intelligence developing supervised and unsupervised machine learning applications. The course explores performing, creating, and scripting. Students gain experience in programming python scripts and data science applications and identify how artificial intelligence tools can be used to aid in business decision making.

Upon completion of this course, students are expected to be able to do the following:

  1. Write high quality, maintainable programs for machine learning.
  2. Import specialized libraries for artificial intelligence development.
  3. Articulate and demonstrate the value and concepts of artificial intelligence business decision making.
  4. Apply mathematical operations and code aligned with common machine learning techniques.
  5. Evaluate common approaches to artificial intelligence application development.
