DBA795 Statistics Primer (1 cr.)Prerequisite(s): Assigned as needed upon admittance to the DBA program The purpose of this course is to better prepare new Doctor of Business Administration program students in the areas of statistics, business math, and business analysis. The course addresses foundational statistics and quantitative theories and concepts which are required in preparation for advanced coursework in the program.
Upon completion of this course, students are expected to be able to do the following:
- Evaluate the various challenges competitive firms face in the business environment.
- Explain the concept of normal distribution and how it applies to statistical analysis.
- Demonstrate how to apply hypothesis testing.
- Use graphs to visualize and predict dependent variable outcomes.
