DBA796 Economics Primer (1 cr.)Prerequisite(s): Assigned as needed upon admittance to the DBA program The purpose of this course is to better prepare new Doctor of Business Administration program students in the areas of economics and business analysis. The course addresses foundational economic theories and concepts which are required in preparation for advanced coursework in the program.
Upon completion of this course, students are expected to be able to do the following:
- Identify and evaluate the various challenges competitive firms face in the business environment.
- Analyze the various forms of competition.
- Analyze and evaluate the underpinnings of supply and demand in various forms of competitive markets.
- Use graphs to visualize and predict dependent variable outcomes.
