LASF615 Lasallian Education Experiential Learning 4 (3 cr.) In this course, learners begin to apply their knowledge of Lasallian history, spirituality, and pedagogy to a contemporary educational question. In consultation with their advisor, learners will identify a problem of practice that is especially relevant to their educational context. Applying key literature as well as their ongoing formation experience, learners will propose a response to their problem of practice in light of the Lasallian educational vision.
Upon completion of this course, students are expected to be able to do the following:
- Identify a problem of practice.
- Apply the Lasallian educational vision to contemporary questions.
- Communicate with clarity and coherence, particularly through formal writing.
- Assess the relevance and applicability of literature on Lasallian education and pedagogy.
- Identify areas of growth in their own pedagogical practice.
