LASF620 Lasallian Education Experiential Learning 5 (3 cr.) In this final course of the concentration, learners revisit the distinctive elements of Lasallian history, spirituality, and pedagogy as well as the personal dispositions of a Lasallian educator and are invited to make judgements and commitments about their own practice. As a capstone project, learners will develop an orientation session to introduce teachers to the Lasallian educational vision that showcases their learning and formation experience as well as their unique identity as a Lasallian educator.
Upon completion of this course, students are expected to be able to do the following:
- Reflect critically on experiences and practice.
- Apply critical thinking to form beliefs and judgments about their own practice.
- Develop a creative presentation of the Lasallian educational vision.
- Communicate with clarity and coherence.
- Articulate their own understanding of themselves as a Lasallian educator.
