EDD809 Scholarly Writing & Inquiry (3 cr.) This course establishes the intellectual foundations of doctoral inquiry through disciplined scholarly writing and problem framing. Students identify and refine a problem of practice grounded in their professional context and situate it within relevant theoretical, empirical, and systems-based literature. Emphasis is placed on advanced scholarly writing, APA style, ethical use of writing technologies, analytical synthesis, and the development of a coherent literature review to support research design and applied dissertation or capstone work.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
