Integrated General Education Program

The Integrated General Education Program is required for students entering Fall 2018 and after.

 

To complete the Integrated General Education Program (IGEP), students must complete the following:

*To graduate, students will take courses from the following disciplines, of which at least 18 credits must be in their Integrated General Education Minor*:

  • Theology: 3 credits
  • Philosophy:  3 credits
  • History:  3 credits
  • Literature (English or Spanish):  3 credits
  • Mathematics, Computer Sciences, and Natural Sciences (1 course must include a lab component*):  6-8 credits
  • Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Human Services):  3 credits
  • Arts and Communication: 3 credits

**Students in the Lasallian Honors Program  fulfill their IGEP requirements through a modified First Year Experience and an Lasallian Honors sequence for their minor and capstone.  The also must take a science with a lab component if their major does not does not already require it.
