Actuarial Science Major, B.A.

(52 credits)

To become an actuary, a person must pass a series of examinations. The actuarial science major is designed to prepare students to take the first two exams. Certain courses in the major have been approved by the Society of Actuaries (SOA) as meeting the standards for their VEE (Validation by Educational Experience) credits.
