Program Description
The Executive Doctor of Education (Exec-Ed. D.) is an accelerated, practitioner‐oriented program with a curriculum and schedule designed around the needs of adult learners. In order to meet the requirements of the degree, students must complete a minimum of 39 semester credits. This will include coursework in leadership, education, a choice of contextual electives, and a capstone project that integrates the student’s professional experience, coursework, and plans for future impact. The Exec-Ed.D. is designed for mid- to senior-level professionals with significant leadership experience who are seeking to create solutions to complex professional challenges.
