Biology Major: Life Science Track, B.A.

The Biology Major: Life Science Track is suited for students interested in Life Science education. This track is typically for students majoring in secondary education with a life science/biology licensure focus.  The program includes a course sequence that covers the hierarchical levels of organization of living systems – molecule, organelle, cell, tissue, organ system, individual organism, population, community, and ecosystem. This track provides an in-depth exploration of the subfield, preparing you to teach biology, zoology, and general science in grades 5-12 as a middle or high school teacher.
