The Biology Major: Pre-Medical Professions track is designed for students pursuing professional schools in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and veterinary medicine. The program includes a course sequence that covers the hierarchical levels of organization of living systems – molecule, organelle, cell, tissue, organ system, individual organism, population, community, and ecosystem. Within this track, you’ll explore specialized courses required for the Medical College Admission Test, including psychology, physiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology. Culminating the program is a sequence of courses intended to develop an approach to independent study through an experience in biological research.
