The Health Humanities major helps students to develop the versatile interpretive and interpersonal skills needed in a wide range of health-related careers, including public health, healthcare administration, patient care and advocacy, health education, and public policy. The Health Humanities major is also an excellent complement to coursework in pre-health profession programs, helping students to cultivate the communication abilities, interpersonal skills, and breadth of interest and knowledge needed for further training in clinical and patient care, including nursing and medical school.
