Business Intelligence and Analytics Major, B.A.

The business intelligence and analytics major provides the knowledge and training for analytically-focused careers in business. The emphasis of the major is on applications of data analysis, business forecasting, modeling, operations management, market analysis and project management techniques. The student in this major will learn information technology skills to provide information for decision support systems. The major is based on the functional areas of business such as finance, operations and marketing and enhanced with statistical and decision science techniques. Students with this major are equipped for careers in any of the functional areas of business that requires business data analysis.
