MG315 Entrepreneurship3 credit(s) This course provides a first look and overview of modern entrepreneurship. Course work includes: 1) developing ideas for new business ventures 2) proof of concept exercises 3) understanding various industry climates 4) being able to conduct marketing research and 5) developing a marketing plan. The importance of entrepreneurship to modern market economies is discussed throughout. Students will complete a detailed feasibility study and will learn how to compile the marketing section of the business plan for an original idea of their choosing. Prerequisites: C grade or higher in AC222 , M145 or M148 /M149 or M151 , MG219 , and MK217 ; consent of instructor for non-departmental majors.
