EDUC599 Educational Research (3 cr.)


This course introduces students to research in the field of education, and the role of education research in the daily professional practice of educators. The fundamentals of designing and conducting educational research are included. Each student conducts a literature review on a research topic of special interest as part of their Comprehensive Examination. The Comprehensive Examination is the culminating activity leading to the M.A. in Teaching degree, and is graded on a pass/fail basis. Students are expected to present their literature review and current issues in their licensure areas.
