AR165 Art, History and Theology in the Italian Renaissance: A Travel Course4 credit(s) This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to study Italian art history, political history, and theology, which were at the center of Italian Renaissance culture, and to reflect on the importance of these ideas in shaping modern thought. The course is designed to help students to develop their critical thinking, writing and oral communication skills, and creative perspectives to enable them to get the most out of their international experience. Travel and study in Rome, Florence, and Vicchio will be the focus of this course. Offered periodically. There are no prerequisites for this course. This is a summer travel course meant for high school/SMUMN partnership. Additional course fee required.
