EDD855 Organizational Development (3 cr.)

Prerequisite(s): EDD809 EDD821  
This course positions organizational development as a strategic design discipline. Students diagnose organizational conditions, articulate a future-state vision, and design integrated interventions that align people, culture, structure, and strategy. Emphasis is placed on leading change, fostering innovation, and building adaptive organizations in complex environments. Students produce an organizational development blueprint that prepares an organization for sustained performance.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Diagnose organizational conditions using OD theories, models, and data.

  2. Evaluate organizational development strategies and interventions across contexts.

  3. Articulate a future-state organizational vision aligned with mission and strategy.

  4. Design integrated OD interventions aligning people, culture, structure, and leadership.

  5. Construct an organizational development blueprint for change, innovation, and performance.
