EDD880 Exec-Ed.D. Capstone (3 cr.)

Prerequisite(s): 30 or more credits in Exec-Ed.D. program with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and approval of advisor.
This capstone allows students to integrate their learning from coursework, professional experience, and future plans for impact in their profession. Working with their advisor, students propose a capstone project that demonstrates mastery of concepts studied during the core sequence as well as the ability to apply those concepts to their professional experience for the betterment of their professional context. Students present their capstone project to faculty and students.

Upon completion of this course, students are expected to be able to do the following:

  1. Display abilities to analyze, synthesize, evaluate, and apply knowledge
  2. Organize ideas and communicate effectively both in writing and in speaking.
  3. Employ leadership theories and strategies.
  4. Analyze organizational culture and apply change theories and strategies.
  5. Integrate theory and professional practice.
