EDD872 Doctoral Seminar: Leading Multi-Faith Lasallian Communities (3 cr.)Prerequisite(s): EDD802 , EDD809 This course investigates the leadership of Lasallian ministries that serve multi-faith and majority non-Catholic communities. Students explore the principles of Lasallian identity alongside ecumenism, interfaith dialogue, and cultural competence in diverse educational and organizational contexts. Emphasis is placed on navigating religious pluralism, fostering inclusive communities, and sustaining mission-driven leadership across difference.
Seminar courses provide a collaborative learning environment in which students critically examine contemporary local and global issues through sustained scholarly dialogue and presentation. While course-specific structures may vary, all seminars emphasize critical inquiry, integration of theory and practice, and the co-construction of knowledge.
Upon completion of this course, students are expected to be able to do the following:
