Business Administration/Human Resource Management, B.S.


Program Description

A minimum of 120 credits is required for graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Mary’s University. All students must meet the general education credit requirements. Students seeking a Bachelor of Science double major in Business Administration/Human Resource Management must complete the following program plan. At least 54 credits must be completed at Saint Mary’s University.

Prospective students must meet the admission standards for both majors. Upon completion of the coursework listed below, students are expected to achieve the overall learning outcomes for each major program. Program Structure and Delivery

Most courses in the program are delivered in an accelerated format. All courses are delivered fully online.  The Business, Human Resource Management, Management, and Communications Core program courses are also delivered either on-ground or blended-delivery.

Degree Requirements


Required Business Administration Courses 27 cr.
Required Human Resource Management Courses 15 cr.
Required Communication Courses 6 cr.
Elective Courses 3 cr.
Required Capstone Course 3 cr.
Total 54 cr.

 

Elective Courses: 3 cr.


Students may select any 300 or 400 level business or management course as an elective. Course information may be found at Undergraduate Requirements , Business Administration, B.S.  or Human Resource Management, B.S.  

Students who anticipate enrolling in a graduate program at Saint Mary’s University may take a graduate course for core program elective course requirement. The graduate course may be applied toward both the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Human Resource Management and the graduate program requirements if a grade of B or higher is earned in the course. Registration for the graduate course must be approved by the program director, and the graduate course must be completed within the final 12 credits of the bachelor’s degree program.
